Venesa Walker
Coach Walker was born and raised in Southern California where she grew up playing club and beach volleyball. As a junior in high school she starting teaching girls in middle school how to play the game. When injuries kept her from playing volleyball in college and competitively, she still continued developing conditioning skills and helped kids learn the sport. Once she was able to overcome her injuries, she went back to playing beach doubles along the California coastlines. In 1998, Venesa Walker moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia with her three children.
Her skills as a self-driven problem solver helped her to develop and implement Volleyball 4 Youth. By using multiple ways to teach the same objective she is able to help diverse individuals achieve their full potential in reaching their developmental goals.
Coach "V" continues to develop a feeder program for the middle schools, high schools and colleges by running a year round training program for players and potential coaches through Volleyball 4 Youth.
